The Smyrna Pride Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly celebration held in downtown Smyrna Market Village. It is the largest LGBTQ+ pride event in Cobb County and serves as a declaration of resilience, visibility, and queer joy.

Admission to the festival is entirely free and open to the public, though attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax and socialize in the green space. The event is typically hosted rain or shine.

Kennesaw-area families don’t have to venture far from home to enjoy the magic of outdoor fun. Kennesaw Parks & Recreation is hosting its annual Outdoor Movie Series offering family-friendly entertainment at Swift-Cantrell Park. The May movie is Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire (PG), and is shown on a giant LED screen in a large field at the park.
